Most all of my blogs have to do in some way shape or form with iron beds. That’s the purpose of company blog……to enlighten people on what your company deals in. In this case iron beds. But I’m departing from that traditional format to pay respect to someone who I grew up watching in he ring. “Smokin’ Joe Frazier, the first man to ever beat my long standing idol Muhammad Ali.
The passing of someone like Smokin’ Joe, really puts you in touch with your own mortality and the “back nine” as some people call it. I linkin it to losing one of the many foundational building blocks that help make us who we are. Those individual building blocks give us the memories and key elements that helped us become who we are today. Every time someone who occupied one of those foundational supports passes away, we feel a little less secure…… a little more vulnerable.
So for all the exciting moments you gave us Joe…..we thank you and wish you all the peace and happiness there is in that next life.
